First Post

Hi. I am not a new blogger, but this is my new blog. I started my very first blog in July 2005. I was 27 years old, single and living in California at the time. I wrote about things like going to concerts, traveling, trying new restaurants, various movie rental reviews and going to bars with my friends. You know, it was the typical twenty something single girl's blog. Then in September 2005 I met a guy, we became friends, we moved in together, moved across the country, moved again-this time to my home state of Texas, got a cute dog, got engaged, found new jobs, bought a house, got another dog, got married, got pregnant, had a baby and somewhere in the middle of all of that we started a blog as a couple and now that blog serves as the "family blog." I also blog somewhere else, which really does not include very many words at all. It's a photo blog I started on the first day of this year, 2009, to post a photo of my son on each and every day of the year. When the year is over (hard to believe it's half over already) I plan on making a book to include all the pictures from every day's post! I imagine it will be a pretty thick book! So that's a brief history on my blogging experience. I'm not a new blogger, but THIS.. IS... American... just kidding (can't help but think of Ryan Seacrest anytime that phrase is said "this is.." I always want to finish it with "American Idol")... this is my new blog. :)
